Working with the writer to expand the play in terms of both length and theme.

I helped the writer develop a piece that started as 3 separate plays which came together to form a single work over a series of drafts.

Bromley Bedlam Bethlehem | Rachel Tookey | 2018

I led a 3 week workshop funded by Arts Council England. My job was to interrogate two drafts of the script and to create improvisations with the writer and actors so the writer could create a new version. We then subsequently staged a reading of this version at The Bunker.
